The University is looking for dynamic and creative individual to join the team of senior educators in teaching, research and outreach activities in the field of Chemistry.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach and coordinate Chemistry and Renewable Energy courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, develop new curriculum, initiate and conduct research in his/her area of interest, supervise postgraduate student research, obtain research funding, and be involved in Departmental/School administrative matters.
Applicants are expected to have a PhD in Chemistry. Candidates should have a strong publication record in Chemistry and tertiary teaching experience and must have knowledge and experience in the field of Renewable Energy.
The appointee will be responsible to the Dean of the School of Science and Technology through the Head of Department, and will be required to carry out teaching and related activities (conduct of tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops and student industrial training), course co-ordination and curriculum development.
Duration: All appointments are for a contract period of 3 years and are renewable by mutual agreement
