The Bachelor of Agricultural Engineering is designed for current and prospective students in the rapidly growing field of Agriculture. This degree programme is flexible enough to fit the interests and needs of a wide variety of students and is designed for students planning to gain the capability o<\/span>f hands-on work experience and make them work-ready. BAE will furnish the students with the necessary skills in developing engineering technology for sustainable agricultural sector development aiming at improving national food security and agricultural export.<\/span><\/p>\n


The Bachelor of Agricultural Engineering programme is a 3-year full time programme, where students are required to complete 24 courses with a total of 360 credit points. Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Agricultural Science programme would need to complete at least 5 weeks of industrial attachment within the agricultural sector.<\/span><\/p>

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS<\/span><\/p>

To be admitted into the Bachelor of Agricultural Engineering programme under the Science Department of the University of Fiji, an individual must:<\/span><\/p>

  1. Achieve an aggregate of at least 200 marks out of 400 and a minimum of 50% in English in   the Year 13 Examination or equivalent. <\/span><\/p><\/li>

  2. The individual must have taken at least two Science or related courses in Year 13 or equivalent. <\/span><\/p><\/li>

  3. Apart from these requirements, individuals should meet other admission criteria outlined under clause 2.0 of University academic regulations and procedures<\/span><\/p><\/li>

  4. Mature Student Admission: Individuals may be admitted as mature students if \u2013<\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ol>
