School of Law Students Participate in Innovation Challenge Launch

The School of Law (Sol) students at the Suva Campus participated in the Innovation Challenge Launch by ANZ on July 7, 2017. The Challenge was launched with the aim to collaborate students and industries.

This initiative will see university students, leading software experts, designers and entrepreneurs collaborate to accelerate digital innovation in the Pacific.

Speaking at the Launch Professor Shaista Shameen, Dean of SoL said that the challenge would allow students to network with stakeholders.

“This initiative helps students towards their employment leading to the transition period from now and work,” she stated.

The challenge will commence on August 5, 2017.

SoL is looking forward to a fruitful day formulating solutions to the opportunity statement “Digitalising the Pacific – uncovering barriers to the uptake of digital channels in the financial ecosystem, to help our people and communities thrive.”
