As a University that is focussed on impacting our communities and the country as a whole, UniFiji strives to provide modern facilities for its students. Its libraries are equipped with the latest technologies, empowering students with access to the most recent information on Medical Sciences, Information Technology, Law, Business, Economics, Accounting, Language and Literature and other spheres of interests. The Libraries maintain a wide range of collection of print resources in all areas of study and research as well as in general reading including special collections on Pacific, i-Taukei and Hindi languages. The Saweni campus has four computer labs with access to the internet and printers. Recently, free Wi-Fi has been added to the campuses for easier digital interactions. As of July 2017, state of the art chairs and desks have been fitted into the classrooms providing a better and improved environment for learning.
The University has also invested half a million dollars to refurbish the main Saweni hall which is also utilized as a lecture theatre, with a seating capacity of five hundred. Now, UniFiji is making efforts to become a “Green Campus,” a small but significant contribution to combating the global climatic challenges that threatens our island nation.
