Language is central and probably unique to human experience, and interest in its study has existed through history thus the Department of Literature & Language offers a wide range of courses catering to students who wish to study the subject either for its intrinsic interest, or in its applicable and applied aspects. In addition, the Department offers many courses which are designed to complement other fields of study in the University, such as computer science,statistics, economics as well as service courses for those whose major interest is in another area.
